Healthy Energy Drinks and More…

I’m doing an article for my school newspaper on teens drinking Monster. They contantly talk about it, so it must have some good and bad, right? And, if you also can, does Starbuck’s (any kind) harm worse than energy drinks?
Its a middle school (6th to 8th grade).
Um, I want information on the effects of Monster, not OPINIONS.

I think it tastes gross, tbh – although I’m a big fan of Red Bull and a few other energy drinks.
You can talk about caffeine and how teens do not have adult bodies therefore daily caffeine allowances are different for them(you will have to do your own research on what these allowances are). It might interesting to focus on how much sugar is in those drinks as well, and how this affects health in terms of tooth decay and obesity.
I would say the energy drinks and Starbuck’s coffees have some similar and some very different effects. Both are often surprisingly high in sugar and calories and have caffeine in them.
