Does the 5 hour energy drink have any negative side effects?

Author: I tried some of that 5 hour energy drink and it works great for me. I’m thinking of just buying a case. My antidepressant usually makes me very tired so the drink puts me back on par with everyone else around me.
Would taking it like 2-3 times a week be too much/dangerous?
Does using it often create any negative side effects?

they are high in niacin – which you can get a niacin flush/fever after drinking an entire bottle. I recommend not an entire bottle at one time only in parts – I’m not too sure about the side effects of a hole bunch you may want to google the individual ingredients and what would happen if you "overdosed" on it.

no I use it a few times a week and don’t have any negative side effects and it doesn’t make me crash like energy drinks. The only down side is that these things often don’t work as well after time because you build up a tolerance. If your energy level is taht low because of your antidepressant you may want to speak with your doctor about that and maybe they can give you some advice.

For me it caused heart palpitations and tremors. My boyfriend also got palpitations and said he "felt like he was having a panic attack"

Well it depends, check of the lable, it should tell you. but i don’t drick that i just buy electrolite filled water. its better for you and it gives you a ton of energy for a very long time.
