How to get an energy burst from healthy foods / drinks?

I was at work last night and I had 2 hours left in my shift and i felt like iwas slowing down. Then I had an energy drink and felt amazing like I just started my shift. I was wondering if there was a healthy way to get that energy boost?

Give FRS a try. Its a healthy energy drink that i really like. They have it at a few grocery stores or online.

Energy drink are FULL of sugar and caffeine, which, no, is not good for anybody. They are high in calories, sugar, all things bad for you.

A healthy energy drink for my kids??

I want a all natural energy drink for my kids to drink. One thats actually good for them.

As a parent, why on earth would you want to encourage kids to drink energy drinks? Kids should get all their dietary needs from a healthy diet that YOU provide and perhaps a daily vitamin supplement. Does the sight of kids hopped up on caffeine amuse you? Plus, if your kids are lacking in energy why aren’t you taking them to the doctor for a check up? Lethargy in kids isn’t a normal thing

What can be changed instead of energy drinks?

I am not drinking them, but one person I know does, so I need to give him an advice, because I know energy drinks are harmful for kidneys, heart and stomach. He wakes up, does some sport (~1h), then takes a shower and eats breakfast. Later at ~ midday, he feels, he is tired and only energy drinks help him. What should be changed instead of energy drinks to more healthier thing?

Okay he should be taking his vitamins for sure. He needs a B vitamin and CoQ10 is also a known energy booster. He should also be eating energy boosting foods like fish and nuts. Nuts are a great midday snack and may help increase his energy levels. He should also be making sure he is taking in enough protein. If he is working out or playing sports he needs to feed his muscles or they’ll start fading.

Also not all energy drinks are made equal. I myself am a college soccer player and the only energy drink that I trust to give me an added boost on a soccer day is FRS. It is healthier than the other energy drinks because it is loaded with vitamins, and antioxidants and also because it has less sugar and caffeine than regular energy drinks, making it a healthy option for athletes. I got started with it through a free trial which I got here http://www.voernix.com/2008/07/frs.html
